Mr Greg Hyams has been appointed as the new Building and Plumbing Industry Commissioner by the State Government, after the previous Commissioner, Mr Michael Kefford, completed his 12-month contract on Sunday, 10 February.
Mr Hyams said the Commission continues to operate business as usual while the Government goes through the processes of creating the proposed Victorian Building Authority.
