Anyone looking to improve their lifestyle and the look of their backyard by investing in a new pool or spa should not miss out on a visit to the SPASA Pool & Spa + Outdoor Living Expo, which will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (Jeff’s Shed) from Friday 1 February to Sunday 3 February.

The demand for pools, spas and water features is growing, with many Australians turning what was once an uninspiring and often neglected space - the backyard - into their own outdoor oasis.

“The backyard swimming pool, lap pool or spa is now considered a ‘must have’ addition to any new or renovated home, as Australians are increasingly spending more time entertaining and socialising in the privacy of their own backyard,” said Brendan Watkins, CEO of SPASA.

“The SPASA Pool & Spa + Outdoor Living Expo is the biggest consumer event for the pool, spa and outdoor living industry in Australia and is THE place for people to see, experience and compare a myriad of different ideas which can help transform their backyard into a unique outdoor haven!” he added.

There will be lots for people to do, see and experience at the expo, including a unique, Australian designed family friendly swim spa which has a built in slide for the kids; a range of entertainment spas’ which boast inbuilt screens and sound systems; and the first ever Australian showing of award winning European designed pool concept – the Living Pool – a range of unique, hand crafted pools which look like a natural water oasis and blend into any garden scape.

Some of the activities that will be happening on the show floor include the inaugural Leisurerite Spas Swimming Competition, featuring swimmers of all ages from Swimming Clubs around Victoria, who will compete in a challenge to swim against the jets in an Olympic standard swim spa.

A range of fundraising activities will be staged throughout the show to support Life Saving Victoria’s water safety education and awareness programs, including the silent auction of a swim spa, signed sporting merchandise and much more.

A series of free seminars held across the 3 days of the show will cover a comprehensive range of topics - including ‘planning for your new pool’, which features Ian Barker from Ian Barker Gardens and Scott Wynd from TLC Designs who have both won awards at the Chelsea Flower Show in UK.

Visitors to the expo will also have the opportunity to ask questions about their pool or spa plans and seek FREE professional guidance from SPASA members at the ‘Ask an Expert’ Stand.

And it wouldn’t be a ‘SUPER SHOW’ without some SUPER specials, so visitors can expect to take advantage of lots of great show offers and discounted prices - so that they can buy now or plan ahead for their new pool or spa purchase.

Anyone looking to add some ‘water fun and leisure’ into their lifestyle shouldn’t miss out on the SPASA Pool & Spa + Outdoor Living Expo!
